Part of the Guinness World Record Event: Gita Sahasragala
I am incredibly proud to be part of the historic Gita Sahasragala event, which took place on August 13, 2022, in Allen, Texas. This remarkable gathering achieved a Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous Hindu text recital. It was inspiring to see 1,329 participants, ranging from 5 to 85 years old and representing multiple countries, come together to recite the Bhagavad Gita.
As an Instructor and Youth Coordinator for the SGS Gita Foundation , one of the organizing bodies along with Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple and Avadhoota Datta Peetham , I had the honor of leading a group that participated in this monumental event. It was a powerful demonstration of community, focus, and cultural heritage.
